Keep the government out of the Internet. It's already free, open, and competitive. There is no reason whatsoever for our tax dollars to get anywhere near this very successful societal tool.
If its already "free, open and competitive" why did the FCC take Comcast to court to prevent them blocking a private computer program from using the internet?
I do want an answer. Cause it was this case that launched the FCC to codify net neutrality laws.
The government destroys almost everything it touches. The present government represents the worst of government in my opinion! Let's increase the change in our pockets and not the change these fools think is best.
I extensively researched the Internet and the technologies enabling its' growth during the computer/Internet technology boom and bust period. Any attempts by the current government to regulate the Internet in my opinion will threaten too and most likely destroy, the Internet's future capacity to serve everyone. Let capitalism continue in serving the Internet community and confine regulation to matters of public safety such as child pornography, fraud, and hacking.
