ISP's Can Not Be Allowed to Discriminate

The public needs FCC regulations to prevent Internet Service Providers from discriminating against some Internet traffic and favoring other traffic. My business and the Internet itself has flourished under the founding principle of Net Neutrality. Net Neutrality means that Internet Service Providers (ISP's) can not favor some Internet content over other content. For example, Comcast a large ISP, features streaming ...more »

Get this one right.

Internet network neutrality is absolutely *vital* to the burgeoning of free and open society not only here in the United States where I live, but all over the world, where free and open access to the Internet's wealth of information must be readily available for as many as possible. Net Neutrality ...more »

No Government Regulation Enabling Network Hogs

Net Neutrality is about inhibiting network providers from controlling bandwidth hogs such as Google and other companies that wish to put huge amounts of data of the network that affect quality of service of all network customers. It penalizes network companies who work to prevent network outages and provide better service. I prevents you from using the Internet unemcumbered by bandwidth hogs. The network companies and ...more »

The One Minute Case Against “Net Neutrality”

Advocates of “net neutrality” argue against the right of the owners of the pipes (Internet Service Providers) to discriminate between different messages or to charge recipients of messages. So for example, an ISP would not be able to favor telephone calls sent over the net over movie downloads, or charge Google extra for the traffic sent their way, or to block a business if it competes with their own services, or to block ...more »
